Suit Casing
"Suit casing" refers to the practice of attending a trade show but “working the aisles” with or without a suitcase or briefcase, soliciting business from other attendees and exhibitors. For the good of the Show and the exhibitors supporting the Show, the only legitimate place to conduct business during Show hours is within a contracted exhibit space on the Show floor. Exhibiting companies are encouraged to protect their investment and report any violations to Show Management.
To facilitate this, the Indendent Glass Association strives to provide a hospitable, safe and educational environment during all of its conferences, meetings, and events. The Indendent Glass Association expects all of its exhibitors, sponsors, speakers, staff, and other event attendees to assist in creating a positive experience for all event participants.
Attendees observed soliciting business in the aisles or other public spaces, or in another company’s booth, will be ejected from the Show and may be banned from future events at the Independent Glass Association sole discretion.
Promotions, Recordings, and Image Usage
Photography and videography is not permitted in the exhibit hall without prior approval from the exhibitor and any images to be used for print, social media, broadcast or any type of reproduction media must be approved by Show Management prior to being taken. No video or photography is approved for resale purposes.
- Each participant agrees: I understand that photography and videography is only permitted with prior approval of the exhibiting company and/or the Independent Glass Association. Failure to obtain prior consent may result in the deletion of the footage from my device and/or removal from the show.
- The Independent Glass Association Show hires professional photographers/videographers to capture images and recordings of the Show in compliance with data protection & privacy laws. You will be asked for separate consent prior to any Show personnel or registered media conducting any on- and off-camera interviews with you. The Independent Glass Association may edit and use these images for administrative and promotional activities in the ordinary course of our business.
